Photo Tour

This three story, three bedroom ADU was designed for the backyard of a house that is partially visible at the left. The ADU’s windows face an acres-large green space across the street.

At 1000 square feet, the ADU is the maximum size allowed by the city. The ADU is separated from the main house by a distance of five feet, except for a small laundry room (belonging to the main house) which meets the city’s requirement for connecting the ADU to the main house. A pre-existing driveway and fence abut the alley.

Entry door is off the alley.

The window over the kitchen sink lets light in while blocking out the view of main house.

The dining room looks out onto the living room and deck.

The living room, dining room, and kitchen all have doors that open to the deck.
